CHAMPIONSHIP DIVISION, OPEN DIVISION, & SENIOR DIVISION

ELIGIBILITY POLICY

At the time of registration for a championship, a player must have an active GHIN number on file at a member golf club of the South Dakota Golf Association that offers the GHIN Service to all its members;  AND

At the time of registration for a championship, a player must have posted a minimum of five (5) 18-hole scores in the previous 12 months at the South Dakota golf club where their GHIN number is active.

100-team field will be selected as follows (if qualified applicant received by deadline): (A) Past SDGA Two-Woman champions since 2000; (B) Low 70 (and ties) teams by gross score from the previous years event (C) Through an 18-hole four-ball stroke play qualifying round from the remaining pool of entrants held one day prior to the competition at  , beginning at 8 a.m. If total number of entries does not exceed 100, no qualifying round will be conducted. Entire field will compete at gross and championship will be flighted based on team combined handicap index. Overall champion will be team with lowest 36-hole score in each Division, regardless of flight. 

FORMAT

Day 1, Four-Ball; Day 2, SDGA Chapman.

SDGA CHAPMAN FORMAT

• Both players hit a tee shot on each hole (Par 3’s, 4’s & 5’s). Partner's hit each other's ball for their second shot. For the third shot, a ball is selected by the team to be played for the remainder of the hole. If the second shot played by player A is chosen, player B will play the third shot. The team alternates shots until the ball is holed.
